As job seekers, it is a joyful thing to be called for an interview. Another step is to prove to the interviewer(s) that you are the right person for the post you applied for.
It is good to practice interview questions, but it is very important to answer the question “Tell me about yourself” intelligently. This is something that most, if not 99% of employers/interviewers ask. This is because they want to know more about you than your CV portrays.
Here are some steps for guidance;
- Start with a short introduction about yourself (name, educational qualifications, job experience)
- Talk about qualities that make you the best person for the job
- Tell them why you are interested in the job
- Make sure you speak confidently.
