Job Title: Marketing & Sales Officer

Location: Lagos

Direct Reporting Line: Manager, Procurement Services, Lagos

Salary: 75k _100k

Job Purpose: To oversee Jeeptrade International NG Marketing & Sales Activities.

Key Relationships (Internal and External): Jeeptrade International team and Clients.

This position is responsible for managing sales and account management activities over an assigned geography or product/business segment, ensuring that Company business goals, objectives and standards are met. This position provides both tactical and strategic direction to ensure activities are aligned with gross profit and growth goals of the Organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the development of relationships with all external sales/service agreement clients and customers.

• Ensure delivery of extraordinary services to Clients to foster long-term relationships.

• Execute on organizational plans for targeting key customers/prospects/market segments by generating leads, seeking out relationships and recognizing development opportunities.

• Plan and achieve revenue and income goals for assigned area which are consistent with target thresholds, budget plan and return objectives

• Review, track and communicate relevant market information, changing conditions, customer demographics, technical information. Keep team and internal stakeholders abreast of latest information that can affect sales or present opportunities.

• Follow established corporate and division policies and procedures in the transfer or execution of goods/services/products, ensure adherence to appropriate instructions, credit and terms standards, documentation, and regulatory standards.

• Develop and implement plans for marketing and trade activities that increase exposure and create opportunity for increased sales.

• Monitor performance against plan for indicators that apply to assigned area. Identify variances and take corrective action if needed.

• Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers

Other Responsibilities:

• Communicate with and maintain positive relationships with customers, Manager, Sales Person, and other stakeholders
• Continuous improvement through aggressive revenue and process improvement is expected and required without sacrificing quality or technical or scope requirements

Person Specification:
Education: University degree relating to the field.

Skills & Abilities

• Fluency in English & other Nigerian languages
• Highly organized and disciplined thinker, effective time manager, must have a task and project completion drive and focus.
• Experience in project purchasing is a plus
• Understand and execute details of complex projects meet deadlines and overcoming obstacles
• Strong organizational skills and process-oriented mind set
• Ability to set, manage and track multiple priorities and related details
• Ability to follow through with contractors, RF Connect personnel to get information/details required to meet our service level requirements
• Ability to effectively present creative alternatives to the team in areas of improvement of system/tool initiatives
• Contract knowledge
• Sales tax knowledge
• Solid math skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Proficient knowledge and utilization of accounting software, purchasing software and ability to analyze projected materials costs versus actual costs, QuickBooks preferred.
