Job Purpose: To oversee Jeeptrade International NG Procurement and Logistics Activities.

Key Relationships (Internal and External): Jeeptrade International team and Clients, procurement agents, transporters etc.

Introduction:
The Procurement & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the efficient coordination of commodities procurement, and on-time delivery and assisting Manager (Procurement Services) throughout the stages of each Client’s purchase order fulfillment in accordance with set targets from time to time. This role will include assisting the Manager (Procurement Services) in the areas of commodity procurement, materials cost, and delivery of materials. Responsibility will include directing tasks, making sure materials procured to comply with estimated costs and arrive at Customer sites in accordance with set targets and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
• Process purchase orders for commodities and subcontract as necessary, monitor procurement, shipping and delivery to Clients’ designated sites
• Work with suppliers to know product availability and assure competitive pricing.
• Communicate current pricing and availability for Managers or Management approval.
• Proactively manage commodity costs against estimated costs to ensure margin/profit objectives are met or exceeded.
• Tracking of material deliveries, collection and storing of all shipping documents in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Assist Manager, Sales, and Accounting units to ensure accurately and timely invoicing and monitor procurement of commodities for all purchase orders.
• Responsible for Shipping, Tracking, and Receiving of all commodities.
• Assist Manager in scheduling and coordinating with vendors and sub-contractors commodities delivery.
• Keep the Manager and Management well informed of any changes or updates in commodity availability.
• Assist Manager and Management in developing and maintaining process-related documents as well as monitoring compliance with established procedures

Other Responsibilities:
• Communicate with and maintain positive relationships with customers, Manager, Sales Person, and
Transport service providers
• Update project folders with all notes, technical documents, and quotes as appropriate
• Ensure all Company Fleet Vehicles are kept to safety standards, coordinate and schedule all scheduled maintenance and required service, includes ensuring vehicles are clean and fueled at all times.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the company of the warehouse.
• Continuous improvement through aggressive cost and process improvement is expected and required without sacrificing quality or technical or scope requirements

Education: University degree relating to the field.

• Fluency in English & Hausa languages

• Experience in project purchasing is a plus

• Strong organizational skills and process-oriented mindset
• Ability to set, manage and track multiple priorities and related details
• Ability to follow through with contractors, RF Connect personnel to get information/details required to meet our service level requirements

• Proficient knowledge and utilization of accounting software, purchasing software and ability to
• analyze projected materials costs versus actual costs, QuickBooks preferred.
